On June 16th, Sue Crockett, current MNCEO Executive Director, shared her experience with the Exit Planning Institute on employee ownership and how it assists owners to achieve a lasting legacy while remaining loyal to their current employees. During this 20 minute podcast, she explains the difference between the most popular three forms of employee ownership: ESOP, Employee Ownership Trusts, and Worker-Owned Cooperatives. Finally, she explained the results of the data study that was just conducted by MNCEO that concludes that 60% of Minnesota’s business owners don’t have a succession plan and 40% don’t even know of their options.
