The Employee Ownership Ambassador Program is for people that work with businesses–in economic development, as business service providers, legal professionals, financial advisors, etc.–and would like to learn about employee ownership from people with experience working with or at employee-owned businesses, connect with fellow participants, and learn how to take their new knowledge and connections into their existing work.
Cohort participants will learn how employee ownership can protect jobs, increase community wealth, and create a more vibrant, inclusive economy. Additionally, participants will learn about the primary forms of employee ownership: Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), Worker Cooperatives, and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).
